[TYPO3] Image crop tool for tt_news

Hi everybody.

I am developing typo3 site. The tt_news plugin is the main backend tool for redactors.
Front end design assumes that all images have predefined proportions so redactors have
to spend a lot of time preparing images before adding them to news. Their life would be much better if they get crop tool integrated into backend. 

I have found alredy nice php implementation (Crop Canvas from http://php.amnuts.com)
but i have really no idea how to integrate into backend. Unfortunately i have no PHP expirience and do not know typo3 internal structure. So i need a hint where and how to start.
Hope it can be rather easy.
