[TYPO3] secure dowloads

hi there

As i cant restrict the searching of a document by user session, i would like
to be able to add document, then assign it to a specific user group.

I have found many plugins which secure the location of the document, but not
any where i can add the fe user group which is able to access the file. is
this possible? For instance, using the DAM plugins, i am able to add meta
ifnormation to a file, is there a plugin to extend this to be user groups
also?
