[TYPO3] post something to the TypoScript output log in the admin panel

hi group,

is there a way to print something in the "Typoscript" output of the 
admin panel (where the processing time is shown). i have some plugins 
and to evaluate their performance i would like to print messages ala 
"initialization done" with the timestamp (like it is in the admin panel 
output).
any idea?
