[TYPO3] kb_conttable: any successor in sight?

Hi List

Does anybody know of a decent successor of kb_conttable for TYPO3 4.0, a 
sophisticated BE "complex table editor"?  The extension seems not to be 
available any longer, not even when "Show obsolete" is checked on.  I 
used it successfully on several 3.7 und 3.8 sites, but I had problems 
with the exstension on a site upgraded from 3.8 to 4.0, and neither 
google nor altavista seem to have a clue as to who will take its place 
in 4.0 onwards.
