[TYPO3] deinstalling extensions

I am developing a little extension. It needs a few configuration variables
defined in ext_conf_template.txt.
I have a problem when I want to deinstall the extension. The extension
manager cleans up everything but typo3conf/localconf.php. There the
configuration is not deleted.

Is this a bug? Or do I have to add something to my extension to clean-up?

I am using Typo3 4.0.1.
