[TYPO3] urgent help needed [OT: real names]

Christopher, Ries

I agree with both of you fully and completely!

All I was saying was that its not unreasonable to assume that a name
like Rocky could probably be a pseudonym. And to be honest I think
requesting someone use their real name is acceptable. Once Dmitry
realised it was a real name then he was fine with it, as am I. We never
had a problem with Rockys name, someone just needed to actually say
"that is his real name" - but Ian's post seemed rather more like an
accusation in anger for mistaking a name.

And at the same time Christopher, you have to also understand that while
if someone named Sang-jin or Sang-zin posted on the list, it is far
more easy to discern that that is probably a more likely real name than
Rocky. That's not to say there is anything wrong with Rocky's name, its
just far more likely to be used as a pseudonym on an english list then
Sang-zin or Sang-jin.

I certainly didn't mean to step on anyones toes or be insulting to
*either* Rocky, Ian or anyone else if it came across that way.

Anyway, lets all moving on....
