Why this? iso-8859-1 has the accents as well. If you need the Euro sign use 
windows-1252.

To me 8859-15 is a failure. I'm no MS fan but nobody needs the 8-bit 
control area, so MS was right to fill it up with needed chars. OTOH, making 
  8859-15 slightly incompatible to 8859-1 was dumb.
