Hi!
I'm Roberto from Italy.
It's some days that I try to resolve a problem with typo3:

I have a page with two components tt_news.
One is configured to read news from one directory and
the other from another directory.

This page could be called with a my parameter in the url.

I wish to change the startingpoint of the two component tt_news
in according to this parameter.

To do this I thinked to insert in the template code:

[globalVar=GP:myvar=value]
  <something>.startingpoint = id_page
[end]

But I don't find what I must write on <somethin> to set the
startingpoint of a specifies tt_news.

I could not do something about

[globalVar=GP:myvar=value]
 plugin.tx_news.startingpoint = id_page
[end]

because I have more news in the page.

I hope to explain well my problem

Thanks
Roberto
