[TYPO3] locate a record

OK.  I tried again.  In the SEARCH secton at the bottom of the page which
has an inserted record whose ID is 3399, I entered '3399' in the 'Show
records:' field, left 'Search String:' field empty and 'This page'
unchanged (I also tried other options 1 level down, 2 levels down, 3
levels down and 4 levels down), and then clicked the 'Search' button.  But
I was not taken to anywhere.
