[TYPO3] del.icio.us like functionality

Hi all,

I would like to implement a web-app using typo3 where users can save 
content by adding tags. Furthermore all tags should also be available in 
a side bar such that clicking anyone of the tag will generate a search 
which will list all the items and content which has that tag associated 
with it. Is it possible with Typo3? Does any extension exist for this or 
  can the existing system be used with certain tweaks? Or does it 
require a custom plugin.
