[TYPO3] hidden pages and back and user

Hi,

There is a backend user on my website who isn't administrator. He is just 
an editor. He try to add a new News item to my news sysfolder. It is 
successed, but the created items is hidden. 
How can I set, that if the editor create a new item, this should be not 
hidden page or item? Or what permission should I give him, so that they 
can modify the hidden properties of any page or item?
