[TYPO3] horizontal menu

Well - in fact it shows, but way down the page without triggering any
scrollbars.
If you haven't got a 1600x1200 resolution, you probably won't see it though,
but it is there.

Could it be that you are using one of those outdated static templates like
"business" or "green"?
The div-table-soup in your page source pretty much looks like that.
If this is the case, maybe you should better drop it and start a new setup
from scratch.
Could save you lots of hours.
