[TYPO3] Login Error or Session Timed Out

I had Joomla, Mambo, Wordpress and Drupal all install within 5 minutes
with no problems at all.

Yet I had to hack together a typo3 installation just to satisfy myself
it worked. Symlinks and paranoid operating systems detest each other.

I cannot administer my Typo3 site *at all* because of this login error /
session thing and I cannot recommend a product I cannot administer.
