[TYPO3] Symbolic links on windows

Has naybody successfully utilised this to run multiple sites from one
installation of Typo3?

I have set up junctions using winbolic to the core files from each site, but
when i try to run the install tool for the site, i get an error that file is
not found.

Am i missing something?
