[TYPO3] mailform: sending mail via smtp

Hi,

Have anybody ever used smtp server to sending mail, from mailform? 
I installed the extension sms_direct_mail and I configured it. After it 
created a page with content element mail form, where I set up an email, 
where the sent mail will be sent. I tried to test this, but nothing had 
been sent. I checked it in my log files of the mail server, and I see 
nothing.

Does have anybody what could be the problem?
