[TYPO3] htmlarea

hello,

I`ve installed typo3 4.0 and htmlarea 1.3.7 comes as default.

I´m forcing the charcter-set to utf-8

My problem is this:

When I tried to insert an external link containing an "&" sign it  
seems to convert it to "&"

In the database it looks ok, but the link in the frontend isn´t active.

Does anyone have any idea what the cause can be and how to remedy it.

I´ve have an installation of 3.8.1 and htmlarea 1.0.1 where  
everything works ok.

Any help greatly appreciated!
