[TYPO3] history / l18n_diffsource in FE-Plugin?

Hello,

I do not see any reply to the msg below. 

Indeed, I do not understand what l18n_diffsource is supposed to do and
how.
I am looking at Stanislas Rolland srfeedit ext. for FE rendering, and I
am trying to understand how to apply or improve it as to deal with a
table which includes a l18n_diffsource field.

If there is a piece of documentation about l18n_diffsource, please let
me know the link.
