[TYPO3] product catalogue plugin (no shop)

hi,

i seek some advice here.
I am looking for a product catalog plugin.
I basically need:
  - 3 levels of categories with some description and an image
  - 3rd level shows a short description of product with image and sale and/or rent option image
  - product detail page with image(s) and the same sale and/or rent option image
  - fully multilingual

is there an existing plugin or should i think of writing one of my own. I'm pretty new at Typo3, but I'm an experienced 
PHP programmer.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
