[TYPO3] How to access the content-text?

Hello,

I want to make a copy of the content-text (the stuff between <p 
class="bodytext">...</p>) because I need this text BEFORE anything is 
wrapped around (the p-tag is ok).

Which object path do I have to use, to get the text?
