Hello,

For those of you who do not read the dev list but are interested in getting
more speed out of their TYPO3.

I just released two extensions which are capable of gaining quite some speeds
(whichs means factors between 5 and 20 faster):

KB Quick FE
Frontend speed improvements of totally cached pages (no USER_INT/SCRIPT_INT objects).

http://typo3.org/fileadmin/ter/k/b/kb_quickfe_0.0.1.t3x

KB Quick BE
BE speed improvement by caching the generated files dependend on changes.

http://typo3.org/fileadmin/ter/k/b/kb_quickbe_0.0.1.t3x

Until the documentation becomes available on typo3.org you can read the README.txt file
included in the extension directory.

This are results of the FE speed improvement extensions:
http://think-open.org/kraftb/index/results.txt
(above = without patch, below = with patch)

As you can see the factor between the different "Requests per seconds" is
71.69 / 5.92 which is a factor of 12 (!!!) which means the pages get served
by 1200% faster than before - but this is only true for cached-pages.

The links on the TYPO3.org update/new extensions list don't work as I tried to access
the /details/ page before the entries showed up - i guess this caused a wrong realURL
entry on typo3.org :(

greets,
Bernhard
