[TYPO3] Can tt_news content be published as static pages

Enable the admin panel for your site and make sure you are logged in as BE 
user.
Open the page containing the news you want to see in your static HTML page.
Open the admin panel and then open the section labeled "publish".
Select "this page" and click on "Publish Now!"

As far as I remember you have to set a directory for published pages in the 
install tool [FE][publish_dir] first.
