[TYPO3] 500 Server Error: Server caused a hiccup

Does anyone have any ideas on what would cause Typo3 4.0 to always
generate a "500 Server Error", although Typo3 3.8 only rarely does on
my configuration? Any clues? I'm still searching without luck on what
the issue could be.
