My assumption is as following:
Someone found my subpage in a searching engine, one clicked it, if one's  
browser support JS (robots don't) the alert comes in and he may choose to  
be redirected to the main page.

I thought you were writing about the same - if someone finds your subpage  
you want one to be redirected to a proper main/top page with the subpage  
one found as its content.
