[TYPO3] pageCacheToExternalFiles not working as it should

Hi

I've turned on pageCacheToExternalFiles in config_default.php and the
strange thing appears.

In directory "typo3temp/cache_pages" typo3 creates new html files (as it
should), but they all have the same size and contain the text "Page is being
generated. If this message does not disappear within 30 seconds, please
reload".

Everything else is working just fine (using TemplaVoila).

Any ideas?
