[TYPO3] how to check in TS what value is returned by "Insert plugin" content element (tt_news)

There is no value for "insert plugin". More:

Because "header" is a field in tt_content table, so you can check it 
directly. But output of the plugin is dynamic.

You may try ifEmpty but I doubt it will work. Simply because most 
plugins use wrapping to <div> with plugin id.

I am not familar with tt_news but see if you can count records in tables
