[TYPO3] 4.0 upgrade $TCA comparison

When upgrading a server for a new site to 4.0 from 3.8.0 (Plesk installed) I 
see many fields with different definitions than in $TCA. Affected tables 
include:
pages
be_users
be_groups
sys_filemounts
sys_workspace
sys_language
tt_content
fe_users
fe_groups
sys_domain
pages_language_overlay
sys_template
static_template
sys_note
sys_action
user_photomarathon
tx_mininews_news

Does this mean that they have to be individually corrected?
