[TYPO3] utf-8 problem

Hi Markus,

my experience is that sometimes the characters will look messed up in 
phpMyAdmin but OK in the TYPO3 backend / frontend in case everything is 
configured the right way [1].

I think the displaying in phpMyAdmin strongly depends on the settings of 
you my.cnf. Also of the character-set which is set in the [client] 
section. And finally also it is depending on which MySQL version you are 
using.
