[TYPO3] realurl and page type

hello,

I am having trouble with realurl and an extension I programmed a  
while ago. apparently the
page type variable (type 5000 )is not interpreted when realurl is  
enabled.

links are created with typolink function like so:
$link = $this->cObj->typoLink($theImgCode,$typolink_conf);

frontend output

can anyone explain how to setup the realurl page type var
or point me in the right direction
