[TYPO3] HELP! Line-break loss in dr_wiki extension!?

Hallo,

for a week now we experience a very odd problem with the dr_wiki extension.
We did not have this problem before.

# THE PROBLEM #
When we edit any page of our wiki (via the frontend) the source-code of the
page's content is displayed in an textarea for editing (as usal), BUT:
without any line-breaks.
Saving the wiki-page like this destroys all formatting, of course.
However, line-breaks are saved after editing, when you add them manually.
They are just not shown, when you edit a page.
I attached two screenshots to illustrate the problem, or you can investigate
it live on a test-page on our wiki:

http://wwwisg.cs.uni-magdeburg.de/typo3/index.php?id=48&tx_drwiki_pi1[keywor
d]=A%20Test%20Page
word%5D=A%20Test%20Page>

The error seems to be that, when the pages content is written into the
html-textarea for editing, the line-breaks are filtered out somehow.
They are not filtered out, though, when the changed page is saved again and
new line-breaks were added in this editing-session.

# IDEAS THAT DID NOT HELP #
First we thought it might have to do with our template, because there is
some building going on there. But we switched back to older
template-versions and even one of the standard typo3 templates - the problem
remains the same.

Of course, we also tried to view the page from different machines, OSs and
browsers. No difference.

We finally contacted the auther of the dr_wiki extension, who had never
heard of this problem before.
The conclusion was that it may have to do with either our php-version or
with the database. But none of theses were changed really, before the
problem occured.

We have really no idea, what we can do at this point.

# A LAST STRAWER #
We did an update of the dr_wiki extension (from the typo3 backend) last
week.
It might well be that this is when the problem occured (not sure about the
exact time).
We then noticed (on the search for the cause of our problem) that in the
extension manager of typo3 there are several errors listed in the details of
the dr_wiki.
We hadn't noticed this before and therefore cannot be sure that they occured
with the update resp. with the first occurence of our problem.
We are not sure what theses mean.
I attached a third screenshot to show this error-listing.

We would really appreciate a helpful response, as the wiki is a very
important tool for our students.

Yours,

Lennart Nacke on behalf of Stefan Carl-McGrath :o)

P.S.: Screenshots of the problem can be send to you on request.
