[TYPO3] BSG: News-category cropping

Where do I configure the crop setting for tt_news_cat.title display  
in the Typo3 backend? I figured out how to set the width to 200px via  
selectedListStyle in flexform_ds.xml. Is it possible to override that  
flexform setting via TypoScript or TSConfig?
