[TYPO3] External Crawler

Hi all,

i have read, that the extension crawler for BackEnd Indexing will
be implementated in version 3.8.1? In the repository there's a
note, not to download this extension because it is for testing only?

Does any one use the crawler or any other Backend Indexer? How
does it work. In case You use some external Crawler/indexer: Which?

I badly need a BackEnd Indexer because the Frontend Indexing
causes to havy load on my server and database.
