[TYPO3] Prevent appearance of non-translated pages links in multilanguage website

Hello everybody,
I have used the Kasper's tutorial of multi language websites and htmlcssstyling template... the default language is german and I have english translations to a number of pages... everything is working perfect, God bless Kasper and other typo3 guys! except that in the english version frontend the menu still shows all german pages links though they have no English translations!
the question is: is there a typoscript way to show only the translated pages links?
other than doing it PHP way? I am afraid that PHP scripting will limit the typo3 pagecontent facilities!
