[TYPO3] Imagemagick - does TYPO3 use the "Strip-Parameter" while converting Images?

Hello List,

i'm wondering if TYPO3 uses the strip-parameter while converting images via
imagemagick? Some converted images are much to large, although they
where converted by TYPO3 and the compression level is high. I think these
images have large metafiles within.

I found the imageMagickCommand-Funktion in the the class.t3lib_div.php
but I don't know how to insert the strip-parameter. Can you help me?
