[TYPO3] howto remove spam-protec JS from Header

Hello NG,

do you see a possibility to remove the default JS for decoding 
spam-protected emailadresses from the header and move the script into an 
external file without changing typo-sourcecode?

I allready tried it via the template setup with:
config.removeDefaultJS = external

But this only removed the default JS for the menu.

does anyone know, how to do this?
