[TYPO3] How do I specify which page ID is the default?

Hi,

thanks - but it doesn't appear to work for me. My site looks like this:

O + TYPO3 site
   o ROOT page  (with main site template)
     o First page
     o second page, etc

If the Root page is set to visible, then I get a page with no content in 
between the body tags.

If it is set to "hide", I get the error message "No pages are found on 
the rootlevel! "

What I really want is for "First page" to be shown.
