[TYPO3] hook : query when I create a record

I want to query typo3 database when I create a record (not when I update).

I try to use processDatamap_afterDatabaseOperations(&$fieldArray, $table,  
$id, &$pObj) but the $id is NEWxxxxxxx. How to do a query on MM record  
when you create a record ?
