I have also seaching solution for that - especially disabling 'versioning'.

I made in 'tm_contentaccess' possibility to disable it from
the 'extended view'.

Versioning belongs to core - that's why it is strange that it doesn't 
belong to the list of possible items to disable in context menus. In 
fact this is an actual bug.
