[TYPO3] Need advice on tx_cat2menu

Hi,

I am currently building a site which includes

Typo3 v4.0.3
TemplaVoila
tt_products
and tx_cat2menu

I need to be able to give every productcategory a specific color and 
that color should be used as a backgroundcolor for the site .. how can I 
do this? I've read that you can use TypoScript within your Templavoila 
Page object, but I am uncertain as to how to use it in conjunction with 
constants.

My products are located in a single sysfolder

Please enlighten me ;)
