[TYPO3] BE extension

Hi!

I have made a BE extension. One control on the form has fieldtype 
'Database Relation'. Users can pick the value through a Select Box. The 
visible part shows the last name from a related table. I need to show 
both first and last name in the list. Is this possible?

Have experimented a bit with ext_tables.php etc with no luck. Any help 
will be appreciated!
