[TYPO3] copying a whole page tree with all content elements at once

Hi,

i was wondering if it is possible to copy a certain section of the tree 
with all its content elements and settings.
because it seems that i can only copy one page at a time.

The reason i want to do this is because i would like to make a certain 
pagetree(pageset) with certain settings as a default setup for another 
subsite. so that i can setup a new subsite by just copying the existing 
example pageset.

i tried the export to.t3d but this keeps starting from the root level 
and the documentation isn't adjusted yet to typo4.0

any ideas?
