[TYPO3] Using img tags in plugins

First of all, hi everybody!

 

I’ve just joined this list but have been using it as a help base for a time.
I’m developing a front end plugin and in the plugin I need some <img> tags.
I would like to know how is the best way to use those tags?. I don’t think
that hard coding the link (I mean the path to use to fill the src parameter)
would be the best option here, but I couldn’t find any hint on how to do it.

 

Basically, say I have yes.gif inside res/. How would I use a <img> tag
inside the ext class pi2/class.tx_...?

 

Btw. Sometimes you may find a typing error or something: that’s because I’m
from Brazil.
