[TYPO3] TV and changing the template file later (after mapping etc.)?

Hello,

I have a site with TemplaVoila and I have to change the template file. 
Everything is done, the template is already mapped and even content is 
inserted on a lot of pages.

Can I change the template file now? I don't want to loose the mapping or 
anything else.

I want to insert a static element which has nothing to do with dynamic 
content like a menu or sth.; it's only a simple HTML element.
Another thing is that I want to move the copyright from the left to the 
right edge and the copyright is filled by a TS text element.

Can I do that or is everything lost afterwards?
