[TYPO3] How to delete a workspace

I am writing a tutorial about the new workspace option and have run into 
a snag. I created a demo workspace and can't delete it. When I select 
delete, I get this error message:
versioning is not supported for this table "sys_workspace" / 1

What does that mean? So, how can I now delete this workspace? I am 
logged in as admin and even have added my user to the workspace I want 
to delete.
