[TYPO3] Extension Manager for Typo3 4.0

had the same error before and postet it in the german newsgroup.
what worked out for me was the following:
i got a hint from an nice typo3-user:

there is indeed a problem with that.
It means it downloaded the list but was not processed yet (or something like
that.... I don't know details).
Go to your typo3temp filter and delete the files : extensions.bin and
extensions.xml.gz
that worked out ;-)
