[TYPO3] assigning a class to the currently selected menu link

Assigning a class to the currently selected menu link
when it is on it associated web page.

My sample typoscript - it does not work.
But I am just providing it as a starting point.

tt_content.menu.20.default.1.NO.ATagParams =
id="mylink"
tt_content.menu.20.default.1.CUR.ATagParams =
class="current"

Line (2)two - the section with CUR does not work,
could someone please assist.
