[TYPO3] spamProtectEmailAddresses always shifts 1 step regardless of setting

Hi,

no matter which value I set for spamProtectEmailAddresses, it always 
shifts the characters only one step forward (a->b and so on).
If anyone else can confirm this behaviour in T3 v.4.0, I'd post it to 
bugs.typo3.org.
