Hi again,
Glad to be of help :)
You can achieve quite an easy switch through .htaccess:
[.htaccess,open]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteRule .* index.php [L]
#RewriteRule .* closed.html [L]
[/.htaccess]
[.htaccess,closed]
#RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
#RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
#RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
#RewriteRule .* index.php [L]
RewriteRule .* closed.html [L]
[/.htaccess]
The '#'signs make the line ineffective - just like in TypoScript - thus
giving you that switch functionality. 'closed.html' would be the file to
be shown while you're working on your project. It might not be as
comfortable as switching the light on and off, but it can be done in less
than minute - I think that's good enough, isn't it ?
Best regards,
Christian
