[Typo3] Backend users problem

Oh, ok, I got it. Through Web->Access. Hmmm... However, this doesn't
feel quite right. Right now I have a site that spans well over a
hundred pages on six levels. I had to go through the entire site and
set permissions for quite a few pages (since the backend allows only
to set permissions for 4 levels at once).

Moreover, the backend allows me to set permission only for one group.
What if I have several groups with access to different parts of the
site? Is there a way to set these permissions all at once?
