[Typo3] macina_searchbox show on every page

Hi list,

I cannot get the macina_searchbox to show on every page, the marker 
"###searchbox###" is never replaced by the actual searchbox. This is what 
I've done:

1) In my HTML template
     <td width="220" align="right">
      ###searchbox###
     </td>

2) On the very first lines of my TS template
#Add a search box to all pages
marks.searchbox >
marks.searchbox < plugin.tx_macinasearchbox_pi1

marks.searchbox.pidSearchpage = 84
marks.searchbox.templateFile = 
typo3conf/ext/macina_searchbox/pi1/template.html

Still the marker is showing in plain text as "###searchbox###" on my page.

Any suggestions list?
