[Typo3] FE LDAP authentication over Active Directory

Hello,

I'm trying to get FE LDAP authentication over an Active
Directory to work.
I've created an "LDAP Server" Object with config from the manual
(ofcourse changed the domain params and the bind user).

If I try to authenticate with the "New Login Box" (Login fails),
TYPO3 creates a new row in table fe_users with my correct username and 
the field tx_ldapserver_dn is also correct, but all other fields
are empty (especially the password).

Whats wrong? Is there a logfile?
